Welcome to the 2010-2011 8th grade English class at Geneseo Middle School!
This first week of school, we will be getting reaquainted with our classmates and learning more of what the year will bring in 8th grade English. We will discuss our class handbook (take a look at it from the link on the left side of this page), play descriptive word games, take our pre-tests, and discuss our reading contracts for the year.
The materials you will need for this week are:
a pen, number two pencil (on Thursday and Friday), and your English folder.
My office hours for this week:
If you need to talk, debate, discuss, get help on anything, or just need some quiet space to work, here's when I'll be available.
Wednesday - Friday: 7:45-8:20, 1st hour, and 2nd hour. Chances are I'll be in my room, but try to let me know if you are going to stop in so I don't go to the office or run an errand when you come by.
