Week of May 17
Lesson Plans for the Week of May 17, 2010
Monday:
Today’s class will begin with the final word of the week assignment for the year.
We will then complete an imaging activity in small groups.
The Inference test will be announced for June 1st
Final Binder check will be June 1st
Tuesday:
- Today we will begin watching a movie about the Titanic. The students will have an assignment to complete that corresponds with the movie.
Wednesday:
- Today we will finish the Titanic movie, discuss it, and complete th assignment associated with it.
Thursday:
For today’s class, the students will begin their final writing assignment titled: 7th Grade: Looking Back. They will be graded on the 6 traits of writing. The assignment will be due June 2nd.
We have connections and an hour early out today, so there will be shortened classes
Friday:
- Today we will be reading silently, practicing our reading strategy of Inference.
