1.    Students who cannot participate in physical education because of a written note from a doctor will complete the following criteria:

a.  excused for 1-5 consecutive days – completion of sports folios with a passing grade of 69% or better
    b.  excused for 6-15 consecutive days – one 750 word report

c.  excused for 16-30 consecutive days – two 750 word reports

2.    Any student who does not dress for class because of a temporary limitation or illness must have a note from a parent or the school nurse stating the reason for not participating in class.  This exclusion from class will be granted for a maximum of two consecutive days only.  If any longer than two days a doctor’s note will be required.  Each student must read five sports folios and take a test on each one.  If the student receives a grade of 68% or lower he/she will lose all participation points for the day.

3.    Any student who fails to wear the proper physical education uniform or brings no uniform for class will be issued a physical education referral with an explanation for this referral being mailed home to their parents.
