About Mrs. Rickman
I was born in Nebraska but moved to the Geneseo area when I was four. I graduated from J.D. Darnall High School (Geneseo High School), married my husband Rodger, who is a farmer, and had two sons, Royce and David. In 1989, when my children were in school, I went to work at Southwest School. I was a reading aide for five years while I was a full time student at both Blackhawk College and Western Illinois University. After graduating from WIU I taught fourth grade at Southwest School for two years before moving to second grade in 1997. I received my Masters Degree in Elementary Education in 2002.
